Hi!

Just a short question about the SmartTag functionality.

Let's say I'll put one SmartTag into my car. By touching it with the Z, I want Bluetooth to be switched on, and let's say GPS. When leaving the car, can I touch the SmartTag again to switch off Bluetooth and GPS, or do I have to turn them off manually?

What do you think? Do you have any experience with those SmartTags?

Thanks and have a nice day.

You can program two tags, one two switch on bluetooth and gps and one to turn off bluetooth and gps

OR you can program it to switch on bluetooth and gps and keep the phone on top of the tag and then to switch it off as soon as you remove it from the tag

thanks for your reply.

what a shame. that's more than inconvenient. then i need to have two SmartTags for each "situation/location context". and keeping the phone on top of the tag isn't useful either.

maybe we can setup the smarttag to toggle options everytime it is touched?!

Possibly, i'm going off my brothers Xperia T, he received free tags, you could potentially keep a battery saving tag on your keyring, so essentially when you touch it it will switch off, bluetooth, wifi, GPS, etc, assuming your outside, so one you get in the car, maybe get a windscreen dock and stick one on there, everytime you dock it, bluetooth on, gps on, run navigation or something, then when you get out, just tag it to your key to switch off all wireless options besides Data,

I'm not sure about the toggles you will have to check that out,
