Hey guys. So the other day I flashed a rooted stock sense 5 rom and everything worked beautifully. Unfortunately, it started slowing down after awhile so I decided to flash a different rom (in this case Bean Stalk). I did a nandroid backup and then attempted to flash. For some reason the phone rebooted during the flash and apparently deleted all of the data off of my internal storage. Now whenever I try to flash any rom (even those not 4.4 based) it says:

symlink: some symlinks failed
E:Error executing updater binary in zip /rom.zip/
Error flashing zip /rom.zip/
Updating partition details...

I've tried flashing different versions of the twrp recovery to no avail (I'm running 2.6.1 at the moment). I tried flashing MeanBean but when it tried to install on the /data partition it failed. I've formatted everything multiple times but still no luck. (I'm on HBOOT 2.10?) Any suggestions?

You've updated to Sense 5, which means you can only use TWRP w/the "b" after the version (mine).

It also means you can only use ROMs with the "new" or "updated" partition layout, which MeanBean is not.

Go back to the proper TWRP and flash a stock rooted Sense 5 or the Sense 5.5 port, and you should be fine. Then flash a ROM built with the new layout.

Thanks for the quick reply. Could you link me to the recovery? I can't find the twrp I used before
