Since I know from partition listing that /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 is the MODEM partition, does this mean I have a copy of my original modem in my TWRP backup? Does it mean anything to my sought fix?

I also have another *possible* approach:

Buy a typical set from same shop, backup QCN using QPST like this Turkish group is showing http://www.androidbrick.com/ultimat...agon-xiaomi-mi5-imei-and-baseband-repair-fix/ then restore it on my dead set. I could go even further with help from others and write the true IMEI back!

Solved it by flashing the blankflash.bat and then holding Power + Vol Down for more than 60 seconds. Now my logo.bin seems to be lost (bootloader unlocked warning appears). Dont know why it works again but well...

I'm having the same problem... I've tried to apply blankflash and I got the same result as you ("Unexpected packet: 4. Was expecting: 3"). So I ask you: was it solved even with this error message or did you try another blankflash.bat ? Can you give the link of blankflash.bat you used ?
