So I finally decided to take a leap...from my Android (htc one X) to Windows Phont (Lumia 920). The initial experience was good. The build quality of the phone and the response..the screen is great. So i switched off the One X and decided to make the lumia a full time replacement....thats when I noticed these issues...any else have the same?
Google contacts: Yes...Windows does accept a google account, but i noticed not all numbers went into my 'people'. I had to go and rename all second 'Mobile' to 'Car'. remove Others...etc etc...In the end it worked. Phew!
Power button - its a bit dodgy...the other buttons seem ok. the power button seems a little off. Anyone else notice this?
Whatsapp - Video cannot be uploaded. Clicking on the video button does nothing! (2.8.2 version)
Push email - Exchange and generally all push emails come really late! Is there something I can do to make it work the way its supposed to work?
Gmail email - My second gmail account cannot have 'as items arrive' option, though it allowed for my first account. How do I enable it?
Music app - As it starts...the music starts to play..but the phone doesnt respond..it hangs (typical windows!)..the home button etc does nothing for about 5-10 seconds..and then it responds
Music player (pause/resume) - So i was listening to some music...and then i got a call..pulled out my headset, the music paused..great..spoke to the other person on the phone...after the call ended, the music continued to play..from the built in speakers! how do I change the option to NOT resume on headset connect?
