when we download any fw from pcc, does it get saved on the pc?

if yes then where?

If you have windows 7...
C:\ProgramData\Sony Ericsson\Update Engine\db\13740270\blob_fs

i have win 8...and there is no db folder

First of all.. C:\ProgramData... is hidden folder, so you have to check your folder setting in control panel.
And.. the db folder is created only when you update/repair your phone with PC Companion, did you update/repair it ??

yes i update/repaired it and yes i know that the program data folder is hidden....there is no folder lyk db....if there are ne changes in the win8 directory then plzz lemme know....coz as far as i know, win 7 and win 8 dnt have ne major changes in the config apart frm ui
