I'm also done with my problems.
finally thanks to r5, I was able to upgrade to US version (since I changed my region with AiO).
then I rooted again and voila !
done with the chinese market !

Glad it worked for you guys, still not working for me lol. I have model SGPT112US/S , trying to find out if anyone has gotten it working on this model yet or if it is a fluke.
