Received my tablet back from the service center today. Seems the motherboard needing to be replaced prior to being one year old is common. Not good.
I think mine, they replaced the MB because my wifi mac address and bluetooth have changed. One thing for certain, thou, if tech support says they have to replace MB, it isn't always true.
You may have to wait for a later release and install that through recovery. It should not be too far away ICS R5a for US has been out for ages. I assume you have the JP tab S?Can anyone solve this case yet?
I have the same problem now.
Maybe already soft-brick.
Can't mount the system and sd card so can't use "adb shell".
Please help.
I don't have warranty anymore.
Sent it back to Sony Japan, they required " 21.000 yen " for repair service for replace motherboard.
But 21.800 yen, I can buy a new one.
I am afraid my news are bad. They had to replace mine entirely. Even without the receipt, they relied on manufacturing date. I suggest you abandon it all together and get a nexus tab.Can anyone solve this case yet?

Make sure its fat 32 card and the file is on the root or first directory on the sd card after that I dont knowHi,
I put the respective file on my SD card. Unfortunately, the recovery process doesn´t "find" the file on my SD card. Do I have to unzip or rename it?
Thanks
