Hello! I am solving a problem for my friend. She has a SONY XPERIA Mini and she forgot her locking pattern. Even her google account password. I know only one way to solve this is factory rest. But she wants to keep SMS messages, i know hard reset wipes ALL personal datas. Is there any way to keep them, maybe if i root the phone and get access to them? or via USB debbuging if she had allowed it before she forgot password?

There is special app Screen Lock Bypass specially for that case. Try to do the following:

1. Restore Google password via backup e-mail or phone number;
2. Go to the web version of Google Play;
3. Login with the Google account associated with your Android device;
4. Install Screen Lock Bypass;
5. Reboot your device.
