[Q] stock Xperia C -> XOLO Q800

as Sony Xperia C has identical hardware to XOLO Q800 (I only doubt the camera might not work, Exmor R vs BSI), is it possible that the stock ROM of Sony Xperia C would work on XOLO Q800?

by stock, i mean stock, nothing added nothing subtracted.

I have seen many ROMs based on Xperia C and then developers mod the ROM adding features to it. By this I am certain that there is a huge possibility that the ROM will work.

has anyone even tried it yet? I guess devs are just busy in customizing ROMs with different apps?

I would love to see stock ROM of Xperia C + bug fixes on a XOLO Q800 device

fast to develop, no irritating bugs, easy to keep up with updates

Xolo Q800 features to Xperia C

Some features of Xperia I really hate, one which is dialer app, sim management app

is it possible that Xolo Q800s System apps like dialer app, sim management app will work on Xperia C???

If in case porting is possible then may be we can get 3G video call feature in Xperia C as Xolo q800 has 3G video call option in dialer :fingers-crossed:

Yeah possible and there is already pure xperia ultimate(PXU) ROM for Q800 use it
