Hi, I have a rooted S-OFF HTC one M8 that I have a few OTA OS update questions for:

1) Should I do the OTA update? I have everything stock. I didn't flash any new roms or recoveries. I just rooted and froze some apps with Titanium so I don't know if the OTA update will even work, which is why I thought about just not doing it.

2) If it won't work because I froze some apps, how do I stop it from downloading the updates? Every time I connect to Wi-Fi, I see a notification that shows Firmware downloading... and I don't want that. I have searched and tried to find what app/service to freeze with Titanium but everything I froze so far hasn't stopped it from downloading when I connect to Wi-Fi. Does anyone know what I can freeze on this phone to get the OTA to stop and leave me alone?

Thanks.

Taking the update is entirely up to you. Some people like being on the latest software while others don't care.

Post #2 should help you out with the stopping the update if you chose this route.
