I have a htc evo design 4g on straight talk byob program , how do I do the wifi tether? I have the usb tether working np but not wifi, any help would be appreciated, thanks

Hey Jeremy. I don't know if your problem has been sloved for ya but I've got a questions for you. I do t know if you have a different phone now but how did you get Mobile Data to work on Straight Talk? I've just managed to GEF voice and text to work... If you can PM me, I'm trying to help my mom for Mother's Day ya know?

Don't know if this will help anyone else since OP was like 9 months ago, but it works on my phone via a Play Store app called JB WiFi Tether. You have to set the SSID/password via your system settings, and then tap the JBtether icon to turn on the hotspot. (if you turn it on via the system settings it won't work)
