HELP, Actually I rooted my SAMSUNG CAPTIVATE I897 and then tried to install CM10 nightly thorugh Clockwork mod recovery. And I forgot to wipe Dalvik cache. The phone got stuck in AT&T Screen for hours together, the phone was not at all responding i.e. neither to download mode or recovery mode. But yesterday the phone went into download mode .. i tried to install the stock rom for Samsung captivate. Its coming till galaxy S screen after that its switching off ... What is the possible solution. Pls Help with this as I am complete novice to this. Help will be appreciated :good:
Get back in download mode and flash Odin KK4 with bootloaders.

That should get your phone back up. From there, you can flash Corn Kernel to get a custom recovery/kernel and be able to flash CM10 (and their respective Gapps) as per their instructions.

While you're at it, once on KK4 (2.3.5), make a backup of your efs folder in case you get a IMEI error.

Did you get an error message? Did the flash go through and say complete?

You can try with Heimdall instead. Use a different USB port though as it installs it's own drivers and will make Odin not work on that USB port.
