[Q] Stuck with no root, what's next?

I am not the only one on this topic. I have come to a conclusion that my device (Razr maxx HD 9.30.1.XT926) won't be getting any root. Alright, what is next? What sorts of recommendations do you guys have to improve my phone? Faster Google Now...
