[Q] Suggest a ROM

Hello,

I'd like to get suggestion on which ROMs I should try. I used to have a GM DSTL1 Android phone so I'm familiar with the OS.

I should get my Defy tomorrow and I want to install a good ROM before setting up the phone. I want to have root, WiFi tethering, video playback and recording working and all the other common features (3G, GPS, compass, FM, 3D etc.) Which ROM would you suggest to use?

Also I heard about Motoblur that it slows down the phone a lot. Is it better to use stock Android?

I'm sorry for these stupid questions. But I'd like to get the phone running as soon as possible and I don't have much time for experiments.

I don't want an iPhone style. I like Androis as it is.

I'll try CyanogenMod, the only problem I heard about it is video recording. But it is probably caused by extremely high bitrate setting (10 Mps), which can be changed to reasonable value.

I'll get my phone on Monday and then I'll have about 2 weeks to set up everything before my vacation.
