Hi
It's me again. I have found out the issue. Its .nomedia files are causing the issue.
Now issue has become problem. These files are not only reset my ringtones but also hiding all my gallery files. I googled it, and found others got their files back by deleting .nomedia by any file explorer. So I did the same, yet my gallery not showing any images. ALL DELETED FILES COMES BACK ON RESTART. I have flashed factory reset yet problem persist.
Any clue how to stop these no media files reappearing?

What did you use to hide them? To add the nomedia file? Use the same app to remove it. Or uninstall that app if it's from a 3rd party and remove the nomedia with a file explorer.

It all happened after my daughter accidently selected recognise .nomedia in MX player pro. Then after I have uninstalled it by force stop, clear data, uninstall, yet no luck. In fact when I reinstall it, its configuration is there, all viewed, new notification is there. If I am able to remove it completely then I guess it can solve problem. Also I am using clean master, I think it may be the reason for .nomedia files. Btw I tried to uninstall both, given restarts... Etc... But no luck

I everyday check in es file explorer, .nomedia files comes even phone is not restarted. But when day is changed. i.e. The date of files creation is changing. Also they are found by deep search option with hidden files visible option.

.nomedia is giving me hard time. I will make detailed post if found solution...
