[Q] Tablet mode ROM with MHL support

I've searched the forums but only found dead old threads with the same question so:

Is there a ROM for i9100 with support for both tablet mode and MHL/TV-out? CM9 still doesn't do TV-out, and there doesn't seem to be much progress in that area. Tablet mode ROMs all seem to be based on CM9.

I'd really like to know if this is possible as well. Ideally I'd like a dual boot with my secondary ROM being in tablet mode which I can output to MHL, like a little desktop I can take anywhere.

I tried on Resurrection Remix but ran in to what I assume is the same problem as you: output via MHL freezes on a snapshot of whatever's there when you plug the adapter in. That said, RR abandoned tablet mode so I assume that it in itself may be more trouble than it's worth, though I'm ready to be corrected by someone who knows more about why tablet mode was abandoned with RR.
