[Q] Telus Reception problems out East

Hey guys, I have yet to find time to update my phone from darky's rom on the JVT modem. I'm visiting my girlfriends family out in New Brunswick and I'm having a hard time getting service.

My girlfriend has perfect reception at the cottage but I didn't get any till we drove back into town. Someone once told me that Bell and Telus shared the same network towers which makes me think my modem is what's causing issues.

Just wondering what you guys think the problem might be? Bad reception around Fredericton? or just the JVT modem?

I can't flash a different rom and check as my laptop just bricks my phone when i flash a rom from it (I'd have to wait till I get back home to my desktop)...

just asking out of curiosity!

Dude! Canada has 850 band so you should never use Darky's default modem. I had the same problem with being on Darky's. I went out of town into the country and didn't get signal until I got back to civilization. The best modems are kg3, kc1 and jl2. Kg3 is the newest.
