To simplify this process for everyone I wrapped up all the the necessary tools, images, drivers, etc for getting your ME301T unlocked in a single rar file. This works as of 5-13-2013, I'll update it as needed when people report problems with any of the included stuff.

I cannot stress enough that I am not personally responsible for any of this work, I simply combined it for simplicity. Please follow the links below to thank the dev's that did all of the hard work for their time!

    The rar file contains:

*Contains drivers for ME301T for Windows (From Asus)

*Contains motochopper, root solution for ME301T (from djrbliss, http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/topic/15208-root-motochopper-yet-another-android-root-exploit-412/)

*Contains necessary files and brief instructions for bootloader unlock (from philos64, http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1697227)

*Contains boot image for TWRP (from eyeballer, http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1672108)

Again please thank the original devs!

    hello,
the app to unlock the bootloader in tf300 works in me301.
I managed to install TWRP with the 4.2 bootloader and works fine. This allows playground to experimentation.
Roms and kernels works as well, but I only tried 3 of them.
    Hope this helps

Which app exactly did you use?
What firmware were you on when you flashed it?

Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 2

BTW I have been working hard on how to get all the 4 Asus sources into one update and have spent a week figuring it out. CROMi-X 4.6.5 is based off 10.6.1.15.3 (TF300T release) but uses components from 10.6.1.14.8 (TF700 release), 10.6.2.3 (TF300TG release) and 10.6.1.15.4 (ME301T release) :D

The appropriate config files, apks, libraries and modules get installed depending upon which device you have ;)

    xx/06/2013 - v4.6.5
o Added specific lib files and modules from 10.6.1.14.8 build for TF700 and 10.6.1.15.4 for ME301T
o Fixed missing Super IPS+ mode on the TF700
o Merged more firmware and permissions files from TF300TG and ME301T sources for better compatibility for those devices
o Changed B2R script to the more efficient version by elfaure
o Fixed Auto Brightness config for TF700. Less dim on low and more balanced around the mid range
o Changed Google Play Store to better 4.0.27 multi-dpi patched version by elesbb for TF201, TF300 and ME301 users
o Changed Google Play Store to 4.1.10 multi-dpi patched for TF700 users
o Changed default Sound Manager from Beats to DSP
o Added Audio Manager libraries and apk for ME301T
    o Updated SuperNote to 3.0.0.40 ME301T version
o Updated Gmail to version 4.5-694836
o Updated You Tube to version 4.5.17
o Updated SuperSU to version 1.32
o Reverted Google Talk to Asus version. You can install Hangouts from the play store if you like it
o New BootAnimation by Robgee789 CROMi-X Fire and Water
o Removed Update Launcher from ROM as not needed

Will finish testing and release within a few days.
