I want to get into theming, and I was wondering if anyone could point me in a general direction on how to do so, i.e. any programs/tutorials i might need?
I would love to take the time to learn as well. I use to theme for my blackberry curve years ago and there were some nice tools to make it easy to compile them after completion. I have not taken the time to research the tools needed to theme for android yet and if some one posts up some links I would love to get started as well. If not I will probably be looking into it when I get a couple of days open to dive into it. Hope someone can help you out JehC, maybe if you get it down you can pass your knowledge on to me.

I am curious as well, JehC. Like I said somewhere else, stock Sense gets boring after a while. It starts to get the same with everything.

I'm starting to attempt this, reading each section in detail. but for now i'm starting slow and im going to try to edit the appearance of the 4.2 gesture keyboard posted a few weeks ago. wish me luck

Until I get time to actually dive into making a theme, I have been tinkering with UCCW and am currently using it like this:
