My touchscreen has gone nuts. It's always been a little sluggish at times on Android ROMs, but I can live with that. But now it's behaving very randomly. It's reading presses as multiple presses, in various places around the screen. It took me 20 minutes to enter a 4 digit lock code this morning, because it was entering random numbers and not accepting backspace.
It seems as though it's not the entire screen either; the 1 & 3 numbers were accepted fine, but going anywhere near the top right or bottom of the screen sent it in to fits. The nearest I can explain it is it's as though it's wet; I've had similar experiences trying to use it in the rain
but she's bone dry.
I've tried a different ROM; I was on CM7, tried CM9 on an SD boot with exactly the same issue.
Any thoughts, other than replacing the touchscreen/digitiser - I'd probably just buy a new phone before doing that, kinda fancy the One S.
