On my galaxy s2 i use several transparent widgets, including program monitor, was wondering if some one has thought about making some for the tab 7.7. Or is it possible to port the one from the gs2. Mainly program monitor and the stock digital clock. Cheers

Try grabbing the .apk files out of /system/app and copying them to your tab's /system/app. There's a pretty good chance that will just work (though you might need to reboot after pushing them to the tab). The stock digital clock should be DigitalClock.apk, not sure about the program monitor.

Tried but no success yet. file names are different. not sure if I can even get the old one working again. I'm using super manager, sometimes it asks if I want to use r/w, other times it doesn't ask at all. Think I need a better file manager with root

1. You need root.
2. Copy in /system/app

I've got root, I've been copying to system/app

I got the original working again, the one from my galaxy s2 just won't work.

Are these files the stock ones, or transparent

Cheers

Just installed program monitor, its transparent

Thanks so much, looks much better

Digital clock has a weird write shadow, is that normal?
