[Q] turn off camera sound xperia mini

is there a way to turn off the camera sound anyhow? I just bought this fantastic phone but the camera sound is very disappointing
i tried camera 360 but it doesn' matter if i turn off the sound, it is audible
any ideas?

update: in the other xperia mini phones there is an option to turn off the sound, but this option is missing in my phone. wery strange
the software updater says my phone has the latest software version.

Ummm there is an option for turning off the shutter sound if you find it carefully in the camera app

yes you have the option, but i don't have I have only 3 sound type but "sound off" is missing...strange

You may set ro.camera.sound.forced to 0 from 1 in the /system/build.prop file after you have rooted. Or you may flash a world generic firmware if you do not want to unlock your bootloader.
