Mine reboots during night charging. Macclaws carbon 4.4.2. Maybe it's a carbon thing. Haven't researched it thoroughly yet, but I don't think it reboots unless the charger is connected. I could be wrong thuogh.

I really don't know why this is happening. But i want to stay this ROM because just this ROM is stable for me (really zero bugs, except this -.-) from AOSP ROMs, i am bored of Touchwiz and i want daily stable AOSP ROM and this is the one but just this thing make me angry.

i am on carbonROM from Kevin since couple of weeks and i don´t have such issues. I charge my phone over night very often and never had a shutdown.
Did you make a clean or dirty install?
Try to wipe cache and dalvik.

I have met with many ROMs, android phones and type of installs but i didn't hear of "clean" or "dirty" install. I did wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik cache before install. I will wipe cache and dalvik right now and I will tell you tomorrow what happened during the night. Have I maybe did something in settings that cause that shutting down?

It seem like my phone crash when the charge reaches 95%. I'll see if I can reproduce and logcat while it happens tomorrow.

OK, finally got around to logcat the crash tonight. Here are the last output:

Code:
V/Zygote ( 5480): Switching descriptor 33 to /dev/null
V/Zygote ( 5480): Switching descriptor 9 to /dev/null
I/ActivityManager( 2124): Start proc com.android.deskclock for broadcast com.android.deskclock/com.android.alarmclock.DigitalAppWidgetProvider: pid=5480 uid=10036 gids={50036, 1028, 3003}

D/ActivityThread( 5480): setTargetHeapUtilization:0.75

I/ActivityManager( 2124): Killing 4145:com.cyanogenmod.account/u2c19 (adj 15): empty #17
I/ForsidenWebViewClient( 5326): onLoadResource (http://ping.chartbeat.net/ping?h=nrk.no&p=%2Fviten%2Fdisse-brillene-skaper-brak-1.11668799&u=vn3fohuap4rvkjny&d=nrk.no&g=30584&g0=%2Fviten&g1=Helge%20Carlsen%2C%40helgefar&n=0&f=f03ff&c=0.25&x=1395&y=7440&o=320&w=458&j=30&R=1&W=0&I=0&E=15&e=15&b=17362&t=C2KenwCMP5SMDvFKJkBWDqUlWhEdo&V=21&_)
Which doesn't seem to give away anything to why it crashed.

The crash happens on both my wifes i8190 on stock, and mine on CM11. I've updated the baseband to XXANC2. My wifes phone is on XXANA2.

As the crash happens across ROMS and basebands I guess there is a bug in the hardware/battery/charging somewhere. Both the phones where bought at the same times. Both batteries died in a four week period and both got replaced with two different 3rd party batteries from ebay.

To reproduce the bug. Charge the battery to full and use the phone actively while still connected to the charger. Phone usually freezes within 1-5 minutes. If more people got this bug, it would be nice to know. Is it a general problem with 3rd party batteries?

Apart from this the phone runs smoothly without any issues.

After replacing the battery with yet and new one the crashes while charging problems are gone.

I'm also having this issue. Around 95% it just shuts down. Major problem for the alarm clock. I'm still having my original battery, but it might need replacement... Perhaps I'll give that a try.

No solution yet for this issue? The phone turns off and a asterisks keeps freeze and the only way to meke it responds is removing the battery. The same behavior is in 2 S3 minis.
