I have been running AOSP roms for 6+ months, but recently have needed to move back to TW based Roms due to some issues with things I need for work. I have searched all over and haven't found any posts with this particular issue.
I had this issue months and months ago with TW based roms and the switch to AOSP cleared it up. I have tried 3-4 TW roms in the last week or two and have had this issue one all of them. I have ran multiple Kernels as well. The issue is a little hard to explain and clashes with other widespread issues that make it hard to search for.
What happens is I am getting intermittent touch screen delay lag. This is very severe where the phone just sits there and I can swipe and get no response for upwards of 10 seconds. Then after a while I get a stream of all of my inputs flowing in 10 seconds late. So I have to sit there for however long it was delayed and let them all finish. Usually 5+ seconds worth. If I am typing I can write full sentences on the non moving screen and and watch it all type out delayed how ever many seconds later. Sometimes the touch input is lost or just to lagged to register.
It tends to happen a little more when I have my s-pen out, though it can happen at just about anytime.
I have wiped my phone dozens of times, flashed back to stock, and gone 6+ months without using TW roms for this issue to still be present when I come back to them.
Any help is much appreciated. I am currently running the latest Jedi rom, and the one before that was Beans22. Currently running the Devil Kernel.
