I have a Samsung Focus that I just today unlocked using the ChevronWP7 token method, and I also installed the XAP from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1334248
which, I believe, now made my Focus also Interop Unlocked. There are also some other things I want to "customize" on my Focus and, being new to this whole unlocking thing on WP7 devices (I've previously rooted a couple of Android devices, so I kind of have a small idea of what I'm doing), I'm not exactly sure how to go about doing those things, yet! Here, specifically, are a few things I want to do:
1. Be able to add new accent colors for the tiles.
2. Add a "never" option to the screen timeout settings (I know - bad for a SuperAMOLED screen, but I just want it to stay on when playing my music; I figure the images change every few minutes, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem).
3. Reduce, slightly, the brightness of the screen when set to "low" - it's still too bright at that setting, even with Auto Brightness turned off (I drive a tractor-trailer for a living and frequently drive in the dark. My phone sets in a dashboard mount so I can use my GPS turn-by-turn directions as a back-up to my dedicated truck GPS, and it's too bright & distracting at night)!
I'm sure you need to edit registry settings in order to accomplish these things (I've already found settings for some in another post here), but I need to know how to go about doing that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Dennis
