[Q] TWRP can't write sdcard1

I have a big problem with twrp since a few weeks; as the title says, it cant write my external sd. When I do a backup or just rename one, it says "Complete" but after a reboot the files are gone. So I can only restore old backups, but cant make new ones. Any ideas how to fix this?

Are u using the latest version?
Did it work before the few weeks?
What did u do at the moment it didn't work anymore?
Can u add a flashable zip on the sdcard and can twrp then flash it?

I am using TWRP 2.6.3
and yes, it worked perfectly fine before.
One day, I did a backup and flashed some zips made by me. My phone was bricked (as expected ) and when I wanted to restore the backup, it was gone! So I needed to restore an old backup, that worked.
Flashing zips still works.
I already tried re-mounting the sd and re-flashing TWRP, but that doesnt help

That's a rare bug/problem i never have seen before.

So the rom itself can read and write to sdcard1. Can u try to use the new TWRP 2.8.0.1 or even try cwm. The recovery's should have access to all the partitions.

I don't know if i can help u fix this. Never heard of it. Maybe search the web and hope u can find something there? Sorry.

The problems are extending. Google play music cant save files on the external storage and the camera refuses to take pictures since i mounted the DCIM on the sdcard1

Do you think reformatting the card could help? Because I dont have another card...

Just to complete this thread, it was a problem with the mirosd. I bought a new one. Thanks anyway!
