[Q] Un-rooting the Nexus S

I have a T-Mobile Nexus S that I rooted a while back so that I could use Google video chat over 3G. I understand that non-rooted handsets can now do this. I also understand that the upcoming Google movie rental app will not work on rooted phones. Given these two things, I'd like to "un-root" my phone. I'm using the stock 2.3.4 ROM.

I found this thread that talks about locking the bootloader, and it seems fairly easy to do: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=875630

Does anyone know if locking the bootloader would equate to returning my phone to the un-rooted, stock 2.3.4 state? If not, what other steps are involved?
