I looked through that forum, and no unlock codes have been given out since the Atrix has been released (None since at least Feb 15, didn't go back farther) and no one has asked about Atrix since then either.

I tried sim-unlock.net to get an unlock code. I paid them ~$20 but they emailed me saying that they could not get an unlock code for my Atrix's IMEI number. So just a word of caution for all of you tempted to get an unlock code by paying the unlocking sites online.
Has it EVER happened that a phone couldn't be unlocked..?? This is starting to get scary now
i also called AT&T twice for an unlock code (I bought the phone at no contract price - 499). I have successfully gotten sim unlock codes from AT&T for two of my phones in the past. One, that was an AT&T exclusive (HTC Pure) as recently as March last year. But this time they said that the Atrix is AT&T exclusive and they changed their policy about giving out unlock codes for exclusive phones. IMO this is complete BS.

They are looking at an "alternative solution" now. Whatever that means. But at least they are responding to my emails, which gives me hope that I might get my money back.
just relax, the phone is officially 1 day old, i think it will be between a month and two for unlock codes to get by.
ATT is BS. Definately. I talked to them today and they didn't give me the unlock code and explaining that with some BS. How much BS do they have in stock?
Guys. I remember the time i bought my Cappy. nobody knew how to unlock it, but suddenly the very day the phone arrived to my country, the post appeared on XDA. I believe it was unlocked one month after release date, so RELAX people. Let the genius work.
good news. horizonwirelessonline.com can unlock it right now, but it is expensive (40$)

im waiting ebay lower prices =X i guess i will buy it like in 20 days or month so probably will be cheaper perhaps i used to find at&t locked phones cheaper but i always think i need a unlocked one didint know about unlocked codes =X
