I'm on straight talk in US running jelly bean on my RAZR. Works fine says sim unknown but got signal data ext.. works fine. Used radiocomm worked but low speeds reverted back to original settings works great. Ordered gsm micro sim of website. Your phone isn't locked

I am getting ready to order and try a straight talk sim in my razor max. Do you get 4g data or just 3G? There are so many people that say it won't work in the us, but you are the first one I have found.

I have a razr xt912 running on the JB ota that I haven't been able to use due to the fact I can't connect to any gsm network. When I insert my micro sim from Docomo Pacific I get the sim from unknown source and I understand its not an issue but I still can't get no service or data with the razr, but when i pop the micro sim into my S3 i get full bars so i know it cant be the area im in. I'm from Guam by the way.

My guess (just a guess) is he is hitting Canadian towers, others near the Mexican and Canadian borders have reported it working as well.. Kansas = No such close border...

Hello, I have a Motorola Droid Razr XT912 locked to Verizon and how to unlock this phone ?
I bought a unlock code with its IMEI number and I don't know how to input this code !

I know this is an old ass tread but it was as easy as dialing #073887*
Right after dialing that the enter unlock code will appear at the top of
the screen. Where did you boutgh the code, from who?

XT912 to XT910

I have rooted a XT912 and Flashed it to a CM11 UTMS file, it now shows in the system screen to be a XT910
I have 2G and 3G settings in the menu as well as GSM settings
I have installed a Staight Talk ATT SIM card, it recognizes the SIM card but I get no signal?
Is there something that I am missing?

You phone is still not unlocked just by flashing a GSM rom the phone it self will not show signal for straight talk. One thing you could try is go to phone dialer and put in this #*#*INFO#*#* and push on the first option and scrool to the bottom and change the phone to GSM only if it is not listed already. That might work try it.

You CANNOT use the XT912 on US GSM Carriers. The frequencies are locked.

This. If you are looking for another carrier but still use your Verizon phone, you would need to look into page plus. They use cdma, and you can flash or have the phone flashed to their network

Got a question for ya Ty. I see in your sig that you work on Nexus 7. Is that the '12 or '13 version? The reason I ask is that every now and again I get the screen that tells me to "Type password to decrypt storage". Sometimes I can turn it off and back on and everythings fine (except for the occasional flicker) and sometimes I have to factory reset it. Do you know of any fixes to this issue? I have the '12 version.

Also, any help with flashing my XT912 to use with another carrier would be great IF that's possible!

ey i get a motorola xt912 from verizon and i just go to setings---- wireless and networks ----go down to ----more and--- mobile networks and ---- network mode and change red from global to gsm umts and work like charm on gsm
