[Q] Unrooting my S4mini GT-I9195

Hello guys,

Previously I have rooted my S4mini with the advices given from this forum.

However, I am going to pass my phone over to my sister.

Do i have to unroot the phone first before reformatting it? I remember my software ended with ML4 previously.Doesn't matter if the warranty is voided. I just want it to look like its new from a shop.

I am not very sure of the process of unrooting. I have read http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2521928 guide but the software I'm unsure which I should download or what I should do. I reside in Singapore.

I have found this website that has the firmwares but im unsure which to download. http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/

Can anyone please offer me some advice? Thanks !

I heard you can unroot via kies?

How does that work.

I cant seem to find the stock firmwares i need to dl.

U can`t unroot via Kies. From which country are u ?
Just go on sammobile and download the latest version of firmware avaible for your country, flash it with Odin and then factory reset your phone. It will be good as new

I am unsure about the flashing part..

Trying the guide in the link above..

They told me to download either kies or drivers. But the drivers may be too old when i clicked the link
