I apologize if this is too noob of a question... I rooted my ICS razr maxx xt912 last year sometime and have not done much more to the device aside from nuking verizon bloatware and using titanium backup. Got notice of the jellybean update and since I'm not doing much with my root mojo I've been trying to un-do it all so that I can just run the jb updated and decide to root/not root later.
So far I've told supersu to unroot (jb OTA didnt work), then booted to CWM recovery and told it to restore my one backup from just AFTER I rooted (jb OTA still didnt work)..
tonight I nuked /cache (jb OTA didnt work), then did a factory wipe of user data (again with CWM after re-rooting). OTA still didn't work.
I didn't think I overwrote the stock recovery stuff and I THOUGHT I'd nuked all traces of what I'd done.
Is the next step to find a factory verizon/razr maxx xt912 ICS image zip, put it on my sd card, and use CWM to load that? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
thanks
Matt
