Hi ,
I really hope that someone can help (Sony helpdesk sucks). I can't update from 4.0.3 release a to release 5, i have tried reseting , as well as the hold power button and the volume button up , and the factory default. Thats all I know. I am NOT rooted, still under warranty if that matters. Would rooting be a good option?
Thanks,
Bruce

What is the model # and or where you from? I dont "think" it has been released world wide yet, just wondering if your region may not have it yet.

Hi guys,
Thanks for the help.
My model is #sgpt112ca/s, 32 gigs
I am in Canada, and when I spoke to the Sony rep (try not to laugh), they claim that it was available.
When I did what was suggested in my previous message, I thought it would reset to the factory default but all it did was reset back to 4.0.3, which sucked.
My favorite advise from Sony was that I had to many apps ( 250+) and that is why outsourcing is not a good thing.
