I am on CDE-AOSPb3.1 on JI6 Froyo.

I am having a USB device not recognised error on my Win7HP x64 machine, and it is not allowing me to connect my SD cards to the computer. This has actually culminated in a BSOD on my computer, presumably because something is wrong with my phone and the USB connection was messed with. The BSOD, however, was isolated, and has not happened again; a full reboot of the phone has not helped this issue.

Any ideas? Or is this a Development question? I have run this ROM since its inception, and have never had a problem until now. It does still charge on USB, however.

You could always try going back to your previous ROM that was able to be recognized by your desktop. If it does recognize it, it might be a ROM problem.

A Nandroid restore didn't work, because the actual root of the problem was a bad micro-USB cable. Borrowed a colleague's and it's all good now. Time to buy another...
