I have a micro SD card in the SD slot and also have another micro SD card in a USB reader in the 3g slot, they work perfect together. I just have to remember to turn on the 3g setting when I want to access the card. I hope that made sense...... i'll try and upload some pics later.

I see what you mean. If you plug an flash drive into the 3g port, it'll show up as a USB drive. But then if you plug another USB drive into the host port on the side, it disconnects the first one and starts using the new one. It's unable to recognize both at the same time. Since I've got a hard drive version I don't know exactly how the flash ones work. Maybe they have an extra bit of code that allows them more then one external storage medium so that the flash card can work in parallel to the already built in memory. But as far as I can see, there is no way to for it to see both USB devices at the same time. :(

yes the filemanager see on external USB !
So I would not be able to transfer files directly from a CF card reader to an external hard drive, using the archos G9 as a pass through? I'd have to transfer the files from the card reader to internal hd, then from the internal to the external?

Thanks for the help.
