[Q] USB thethering/WIFI Hotspot issue

i am trying to use my mobile as WIFI hotspot but when i enable my defy+ reboots,i tried many times but same result. i am using maniac's cm7.2 ROM the build from oct(forgot date).Need help in resolving this issue.

Also can someone tell me how to use usb thethering since that option is disabled and says usb cable is not connected even though i have connected it to pc using usb cable.

Use any software for wifi and usb tethering. search play market
I am using: Barnacle Wifi Tether.
