I will disagree with this statement... My GN3 can't come soon enough... Locked or Unlocked, I'm looking forward to this phone a lot. Frankly, I'm fine w/ a locked bootloader on it so long as there's a root exploit. (Keeping knox status at 0x0 is a plus)
Lol man I've been waiting since the 9 of September I'm ready and now I'm hearing rumors they aren't shipping till the 10th

As I said in another post, Adam has emphatically stated he will no longer mess with Samsung phones & is advising everybody to chose a different brand.

I have REALLY mixed feelings about having a permanently locked phone. I try to tell myself I could be perfectly happy with it as I am definitely NOT a flashaholic. I get my phone perfect on one ROM and then I leave it alone. The problem is, I don't think I would ever be 100% happy with it totally stock..

I started trying to think of the reasons I like modding.

1. Adaway

2. Root explorer

3. backup & recovery

4. custom clock/status bar icons etc etc

5. free hotspot w/unlimited data

6. debloat all VZ crap

7. custom boot images

8. super annoying WiFi nag

9. constant GPS icon

I'm sure there is more, but that's what comes to mind right off.

Root would solve most of this, but I'm not buying the N3 until I know for sure it's rooted (and I do have an upgrade available that will keep my unlimited data)
