[Q] Want to trade my Epic 4g For an EVO.

I live in South FLA Ft Lauderdale area. I will be getting a new Epic from sprint tomorrow so there will be no cosmetic damage. I am looking for an even exchange for the HTC EVO. I am still a fan of the epic but realized I like the bigger screen of the EVO and dont need the keyboard. If interested please let me know. Thanks.

Lol i REALLY think you should reconsider. I have both an epic and and evo and even with cyonogen mod the evo doesnt compare. Youll gain .3 inches and lose amoled for that fugly lcd riddled with backlight bleed and that infamous patch. Youll be downgrading hardware a whole generation... sorry man im sure you dont care but i dont want you do something you WILL regret. Run a search other people here have done it and admit they shot themselves in the foot.

there are plenty that have and loved the change to evo.. and consider it an upgrade in usability.

my sis has an epic. her battery died, so she had to borrow my evo to take a few pics of her daughter...

15 mins after using my phone...
she says as she hands my phone back, "wow, your phone is so easy to use."

things just work better and together...
ex: I can talk on my phone and take a picture at the same time.
there are much more choices in the development community...much bigger than epic.

That's YOUR opinion. I traded my evo for an epic and switched back to the evo. I think the Evo is a better device or at least, more suitable for my needs. The Epic has too many software issues.

See thats also YOUR opinion. Also your epic might of been ****e cuz as far as im concerned that evo i have is collecting dust and there isnt anything i need it for. Maybe to show people at work who dont know any better how outdated it is. People still think the evo is the be all end all of phones. Here let me show you this shiny epic in my pocket lol

Yea epic just had their upgrade pulled because of about of issues....

My wifes epic can't take pictures in low light, freezes phone in certain camera modes, no good asop roms, no gingerbread...

Sorry evo has way way more development to make it exactly how you want it.

The Epic does have an "awesome" slide out keyboard though, but it skips keys when you're typing.

hardware wise... epic has the specs to kick ass... and that is where it stops!

EVO.. everything else is better.. and works together...
oem support
sprint support :p
dev support (hands down kills epic 20 times over)

example of everything works together...
Epic..can you take pics and talk on phone at the same time? does that not sound something it should do?
