Bit gutted that it's only 750MB ish RAM.
So what has better benchmarks so far? Pyramid, Galaxy S2, LG 2x or EVO 3D?

Last time I checked the 2x scored highest. But its to early to say I think, as the other phones aren't released. Meaning they were likely tested with unfinished software.Bit gutted that it's only 750MB ish RAM.

I first tried out a 3DS last year and have since bought one, i'm one of the lucky ones that have zero problems with regards to eye strain, dizziness or headaches! I know plenty of other people who do suffer looking at 3D though, I know a couple of people who can't see 3D at all!If the EVO 3D's 3D works anything like the 3DS's, you might want to try it out first to make sure it doesn't hurt your eyes.

Very good point! I'm not a benchmark preacher, but that is a solid argument for the better displays.Guys,no one has mentioned anything about the graphics performance of the Pyramid/Evo 3D though.
Yeah,it may perform worse in benchmarks, but that is largely affected by its higher resolution. The Optimus 2X and Galaxy S2 might perform better(Not much better though) but their screens are 800x480=384000 pixels, while the Pyramid/Evo 3D has a resolution of 960x540=518400 pixels. That is 35% more pixels. To explain, benchmark side by side the X10 mini and the original Desire. They share the same Adreno 200 GPU.On nenamark, one of the most demanding graphics benchmarks IMO,the X10 mini with its 320x240 screen scores more than 40 frames per second, while the Desire with 800x480 scores only 16 frames per second. The pixel number margin may be bigger here, but you get the point.Any direct comparison with numbers therefore is highly inaccurate and doesn't proove that the Adreno 220 in Qualcomm's chip is inferion to others.![]()
Amazing guys!! I'm gonna buy this mobile!;-)Very good point! I'm not a benchmark preacher, but that is a solid argument for the better displays.
Do mind though that the MDP's screen is WVGA (480x800) compared to the qHD (540x960) in the Evo and Pyramid, and that it was constantly plugged into a special usb-power adapter so the battery would not run out.Anandtech posted some good benchmarks on the Snapdragon thats winging its way into the Pyramid and Evo 3D (albeit at a slower clock speed):
It's certainly no slouch!
Plus the MDP is only for testing purposes and doesn't prove anything about the final products performance,as drivers will be finished, optimised and...well,things will go out of beta!Do mind though that the MDP's screen is WVGA (480x800) compared to the qHD (540x960) in the Evo and Pyramid, and that it was constantly plugged into a special usb-power adapter so the battery would not run out.
I still want the Pyramid though!
Not when you want to play some games on the N64 emulator or PSX emulator.benchmarks arent always everything! you cannot notice a significant speed differences just by using the device. by haveing these benchmarks it makes you feel your device is faster - its all in your mind!!!!!
That proves any benchmark that showed the Pyramid as being slow is likely due to the typical thing that slows down any HTC Device, HTC Sense.Semi-relevant to the Pyramid (because it will probably have a SnapDragon MSM8x60 SoC), some GPU performance analysis of the Adreno 220 went up on Anandtech, albeit with a CPU clock of 1.5GHz: http://www.anandtech.com/show/4243/...ormance-1-5-ghz-msm8660-adreno-220-benchmarks
