The user named souljaboy posted in my ?? closed by admins ??thread that this phone have no 1080p HD video recording capability.
So here is the latest info from HTC's event in London
:D

1:52PM Stereo sound recording too! There's also a new video trimmer.

1:52PM Full 1080p HD video at 30 fps. Nice!

1:52PM Instant Capture feature on the camera promises truly instant shots.

:p so happy days

What do you guys think about the 16:9 aspect ratio? I didn't realize it had this until I looked at the Engadget hands-on. I was completely sold on this phone until reading that...

It may make for a nice movie experience, but I'm not sure about the portrait keyboard. My Nexus One (3.7 in. screen) felt very cramped compared to the iPhone 3G (3.5 in), and I'm pretty sure the AR was the main reason for this...

I'm sure it will feel better in the hand than the other 4.3in phones, but I kind of wish they had gone with the HD2/HD7/Evo shape...

to be honest I never type on keyboard in portrait mode. I always use landscape mode for typing on my HD2 Android.
So for me this is OKi

Just a shame the T-Mobile USA version likely won't have any antenna for AT&T's network. Now that we see the specs we see it's not future proofed at all for the AT&T buy of T-Mobile USA.

And no kickstand, it's 2011 for crying out loud.

Oh well, at least it's got an FM Radio :D (sarcasm) .

OP change title of the thread to 'Discussions On HTC Sensation' ;)

i have a very very strong feeling that battery life is going to be utterly crap on this!

1) It has a gigantic 4'3 inch screen to power
2) its not amoled
3) its 1520mah isnt that impressive for a dualcore phone.
4) is has more pixels (qHD)
5) it has htc's new fancy 3d sense which will be more resource demanding
6) its dual core - they suck up alot of power!!!

Knowing htcs rep now, we all expect battery life to be crap.
only time will tell how good it is!

The spec for estimated battery life is not too far out of line with other HTC Android devices.

Having an HD2 running Android, I'm already used to having spare batteries and a charger nearby.

I have HD2 running Android but u can't simply compare this to the native android phones for one simple reason and that is - the main problem is the kernel ! for HD2 Android .
I not saying the batt on new Sensation will be perfect, I just saying that batt usage on HD2 running android is crap on most ROMs and the reason is - kernel.
So on Android native phones is much easier to save some power by adding/removing some bits in sys than on HD2 where is not much what u can do to save a power.

My statement was not to compare to my HD2. But to mention if the Sensation has short battery life, the matter of having a spare and being near a charger is something I'm used to.

Mainly, I wanted to point out to you, that the the spec for battery life on the Sensation is not far from other native Android HTC devices. Compare the Sensation estimated talk/standby time with other native Android HTC devices and you'll see what I mean. The Sensation is a little better than some in some areas and a little less than some in other areas.

We have no actual device in the wild to test, so for now the provided estimates are our only solid evidence. Assuming HTC test their battery life estimates the same across their devices.

That's taste.. I think a top device has to feel solid and I don't care a few grams.. and in my opinion the SGSII looks really ugly!

I find the SGS II beautiful!

it is a real real shame that that the sensation hardware isnt as powerful as the sgs II!

for instance, 768mb RAM.... really? and htc have a new heavy ui and they only implement 768mb ram... than the evo 3d gets 1gb?!?!

SGS II has a superior cpu/gpu too!
and the battery life is much higher mah, i think its 1850mah, in the worlds thinnest phone.
