Hey guys, just wanted to know what does the normal 1 year warranty that comes with the S6, what does it actually cover? I'm contemplating of tripping knox and rooting my S6 cause of the meh battery life from all the bloat, but don't want to unless there is an alternative (i'm on 5.1). Should I just wait for Android M update, which people are saying gives finer control on bloatware? Couldn't Samsung just **** that up too and not give us control on some of it like our current TW?

You can debloat without root. Package disabler from Playstore or Debloater for PC. Google it, else there are guides on here.

If you live in EU you still have your statutory warranty for 2 years. (but be ready to run a fight with your costumer service, as most people - inclusive where you bought your phone from - that rooting stop your right to have repairs under your statutory warranty.)

Thanks so much bro, I didn't know that Package disabler could disable even the apps which TW doesn't allow to disable through settings. Looks like im seeing improved battery life already thanks to you, and I guess i'll hold off root for a bit longer :D

Sounds good. Yes, the standby time is ****ty just because of all the bloatware. I run XtreStoLite debloated run (you will need to trip knox for that tho) but it's battery friendly as hell.).
