1,what is kernel build 10?

It is the version of the firmware where generally it has been patched so that the current exploit method (root) can not be used.

Settings, About

Yes.

2,what about kernel #10?
3.2.1 can't root?,or 4.0.3 can't root?

Normally in HC 3.2.1 where kernel 10 is, this root method will not work.
All ICS kernels (that we know of) have been locked down in the same way.

but i use all in one tool root succesed!and (china version) installer back google paly!
As we have discovered in AIO thread, Chinese tablets are different, so lucky for you.

3,can i make pre-root ics?
Yes, since AIO version 3.1 (i think) China tab has been supported.

is it safe for a kernel 10 user up to ics?
It is safe! Normally can not be done, but in your case YES.

Good luck

Follow AIO post one to the letter

Yes i have it says that my kernel is locked the tool from condi.
I bought my tablet in USA and the android version is 4.0.3 kernel 2.6.39.4 [email protected] #1
Uh huh, that would be the issue.

ICS 4.0.3 is currently unrootable! Only preroot from previous HC 3.2.1 is possible. Also no way to downgrade ATM. Sorry to tell you, but I am in the same boat.

Are you saying if I update it to 3.2.1 from 3.2, I would find it rootable? How do you update? Using OTA update provided by Sony?
Using OTA, I can only update to 4.0.3.

Check Stifilz's thread (link is in my signature) for links to update files. Most Sony server 3.2.1 links for various regions no longer work, but the member-provided links for the US region still work.

Still a bit lost

So if I got it right,

I should firstly flash to 3.2.1,
Then root it,
Then Condi update it to 4.0.3,
Then re-root?

Almost correct. Not re-root; instead, pre-root.

First, update (flash) to 3.2.1r2 and root it using Condi's ALLinONE v4.0 tool (not v4.1). From Main Menu, select 1 Root device. Then use Condi's ALLinONE v4.0 tool again to pre-root and install (flash) 4.0.3r1a or 4.0.3r5. From Main Menu, select 3 * Custom ROM and Flashing [SUBMENU], then from next menu, select 1 Create decrypted update.zip [+optional make custom]. The last link in my signature will take you to a post describing this method.

Another option is to first update to 4.0.3r1a or 4.0.3r5 then root using the method described in WonderEkin's post. Use the second link in my signature to view his post. I have not used WonderEkin's method (I did not need to, my tablets were already rooted when he posted), but several people have used his method with success.
