Apparently they're not the same because I've seen the same model number for 16GB and 32GB, can anyone actually clarify the difference, because there is no documented changes that I've seen published by Samsung. It's a bit of a black spot.

Thanks!

EDIT: I think N8000 is 3G and N801X is Wi-Fi can anyone confirm this?

Yep, N8000 is 3g & wifi, N8013/10 is wifi only.
Most of the roms available are for the N8000 so, personally, I got an N8000. Like the fact I can use the 3g as well when in an area devoid of wifi... I live in Australia, this is pretty much the norm - no wifi...

So far, no one knows... It used to be 10 vs. 13 was no IR vs. IR blaster, but both have it now...

Once someone figures out the real differences, I'll whip up an N8010 device tree for CM.

Answer straight from Samsung.....

I was wondering the same thing so I emailed Samsung Australia, this is the reply:

Thank you for contacting Samsung Customer Care.

The N8000 is a 3G variant of the Galaxy Note Tab, you are able to make phone calls and browse the internet using a network provider of your choice. Please be aware that there are two major different models with the Galaxy Note Tab, there is the GT-N8000 which works on the 900 band, this means that Optus and Vodafone will work and network providers under them, and there is the GT-N8000T which works on the 850 band, this means that Telstra and the network providers under them will work.

The N8010 is a WiFi only tablet. This tablet is unable to make phone calls unlike its 3G variant.

The N8013 is an overseas model of the WiFi variant and has not been released in Australia.

I hope this has been some help to you.

If you have any further enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact Samsung Customer Care on 1300 362 603.

Thank you for contacting Samsung.

A friend of mine got his galaxy note 10.1 from states before it was available in Canada. He has a 16 GB model and it is N8013. I got mine two months later in Canada and it is a 32GB model N8010. (haven't seen 16 GB variants yet)
I did a comparison between the two. The obvious differences are: updates are available at least a month sooner for the N8013 models before they are available for the N8010 ones, out of the box N8013 came with some apps like Kno textbooks that were not found on N8010 model out of the box, the screens on N8013 model has a much better color saturation and produces deeper colors than N8010 model, and finally the N8013 models weigh noticeably more than N8010 models which can be a result of the materials used in making the two. N8013 has a much better built quality than N8010 models.

Hope this helps.

N8013 Bluetooth Keyboard Fitment

Sorry to open up this old thread but I have a related question. I am thinking of purchasing a bluetooth keyboard case off eBay for the N8013 but the Chinese seller says it will not work with the N8013 version, only the N8000 version. The tablet snaps into a plastic form fitting case that appears to be the correct shape. The plastic part rotates so can use the tablet in either portrait or landscape mode. Could it be software related? I thought if something worked with the N8000 and/or N8010 versions it would work with the N8013. Is this an invalid assumption? I cannot think of why this wouldn't work. Anyone know why it wouldn't?

Tried to post a link but haven't had enough posts yet.
