[Q] What is the Stablest ICS ROM available for the Kindle Fire?

Why ICS ? Why not JB instead ? My suggestion is twa_priv's CM10 or AlienDroid (based on twa_priv rom), they're very stable and working great.

tbh, ICS seems a bit pointless since there is CM7.2 that has really good batter life, or JB that is buttery smooth. ICS has laggy ui and worse battery life than GB.

If not sure, you're welcome to try dual-boot like i have :) i still cant decide so i kept them both :D
