So i calibrated my battery today.
but is till did not manage to make it through out the day with a full charge.
So im wondering what are the settings that you all are using to get through out the day with battery.

and why the hell is this in 10% increments. stupidest thing i have ever seen.

Turn brightness all the way down.
Dont use widgets.
Turn off WiFi, GPS & BT.
Turn off syncing.
Carry an extra charger.

Signal. Signal, signal, signal.

At home where I always have 3-4 bard of H+ my battery can go 48 hours. At work where it constantly switches from 3G to EDGE I burn 5% per hour just sitting there. That's with Gmail Sync and Corporate Sync on, no widgets except BLUR, Blur doing the social thing with Twitter and FB.

Do you have your corporate sync always on? Do your corporate sync notifications work? I might get one a day and miss out on 15+.

Anyone that has this problem should look into disabling 3g entirely while you are in areas of weak signal, it can go a long way to increase your battery life. It basically just tells the phone to stay in EDGE mode. I know there is a thread around here somewhere that talks about it, not sure how to do it off the top of my head.

There's an issue with Corporate Sync and Exchange 2003 where you don't always get notified of emails when they arrive.

I hardly ever get notifications, too.

I dont really do anything out of the ordinary besides the usual no wifi/GPS/BT. Although I do have my data disabled, but thats more because of the small data plan and not wanting to burn through it than battery concerns. I'm sure it helps though.

Unplugging the phone at 6:30am, to 11:30pm I"m left with 52%. Just under 3 hours screen time. Signal's all over the place, one second its 1 bar and the next its 4 despite not changing location.

@OP - Use the Circle Battery Widget. For whatever reason it can detect exact percentage and not just the 10% increments.

Also, give the phone a few days. Mine was crap battery life at first, but by day 4 it started lasting through an entire day.

Download Battery Monitor by Simmo Publications its a blue battery with like a silver outlining for the logo. That gives you exact percentages in the notification bar instead of cirlce widget that only give it to you as a widget.
