I would opt for pac-man rom. It has blacklist in the phone and messaging settings. Plus it super slim, stable, nightly updates an has the best features that are out there. 3g speed hack, loopy smoothness, double tap to wake to name a few.... Basically all the features people are wanting are in this rom and have been since it came to the mini. Battery life excellent also plus it's on Android 4.4.4 . You should give it a shot

Nightly isn't a theme. Nightly means that there are minor updates, tweaks to the rom on a Nightly basis but it is very stable. and if you mean the theme is too dark, well it also has the new cm theme manager installed too.... ... There are plenty of lighter themes to choose from

the blue accent colou can be changed to red,orange,green etc etc
