Its locked i tried an out of the country sim. I've been trying that over and over my phone isn't reading the gold card. That is literally my only problem...does the european rom version matter?

Unless you have used it successfully on another AT&T Titan, then it doesn't matter how many millions of of times it worked on another phone.

Sorry, don't get me wrong, but you're probably not doing it the correct way. At first I had problems too and reading the instructions 3 o 4 times I got it right.

First plug male cable to the back port of your PC, than plug card reader in one of the female port, plug the USB cable to the other female port, than turn off your TITAN, plug the phone wile its turned off it will turn on by itself, quick start holding the volume Down and camera till it enter USB HOST MODE.

edit: tried every combination to no avail, My phone is just not reading the the gold card. Im using a micro SD card and adapter and formating to fat 32 with the 4096 allocation size. It's a quick format. then i gold card it and then copy "ETERIMG.nbh" to it. Unplug it and plug into the Y cable.

I tried every god damn thing and nothing worked..... U are wasting ur time, when i collect 20 euros i will go to repair center to get a custom ROM...

just check that the card reader s getting power , check this way plug the phone with data cable to card reader port and if the phone charges its ok with power . check the other female port also ... i got problem with female convertor with my first titan . so i made my own female ports .
Make sure that when you format, it's selected to "fat32".Once you get the physical connections secure leave the drive or card reader for last. It had worked for me.
i suggest Bootloader 2.xx before attempting XSPL for HTC Eternity.
