Nova Launcher>Press and Hold Screen>Select Widgets>Under Nova Launcher Widgets Select Activities and drag the icon to the home screen. A list of Activities pops up. Scroll down to Phone [there's 3 options for phone. Pick the one will 99 in the right corner.] Scroll down and select Mobile Data.

Thanks. However, It really did not find this from my note 7. What happened? My note 7 SM-G930fd

Mine didn't ask. It's set up for wifi calling. In fact, there's a icon in the notification bar I'd like to get rid of.

Use Cellular Preferred. Will get rid of the icon most of the time anyway.

I see people stating that their VoLTE was off by default. I (personally) wouldn't play too much with those settings just yet (on my phone at least, haha). If that really is the case, maybe it disables VoLTE when connected to specific towers, i.e. a different frequency, or even HSDPA, 4G, whatever....

I can't imagine it being disabled totally out of the box, unless the phone itself was smart enough to say, this isn't viable right now, "auto-off", oh here's a nice strong LTE tower I can connect to "auto-on".

Just guessing..... seems weird anyway. Mine is working just fine.

my device is G-930FD, even I installed the nova launch but did not find the option of Enhanced LTE Services, and only for options of Mobile Data and User capabilities exchange are found. So strange and felt disappointed.

Do you normally get strong 4G LTE in your area?

Yea, based on what I'm seeing, I'd say the phone is auto detecting depending on your area/region, and handling VoLTE automatically. I'm in NYC and DC, so no issues here.

BTW, here are my average LTE speeds (and Wi-Fi) on my Note 7, I'd say they're pretty good..

It was a problem on my s6 and my s7. Caused a lot of battery drain issues and when I would leave my Wi-Fi connection it wouldn't reconnect to a cellular network unless I reset the phone.

I found IMS settings ages ago

Download the app 'shortcut master '
Then go to app explorer and find IMS and launch
Then scroll down to the last option and hit launch
Voila!! You can customize every aspect of your IMS settings including Volte. :)
