Greetings All,
So my S4 has a interesting issue in that the humidity sensor is reporting the humidity to be mid 80's to 100% all the time no matter the time on the given day. So I have compared the readings from my friends S4 in the same room after sitting on the table for 5 minutes and his is well below mine at 33% at the time.
So before I do the whole warranty thing I would like to know A: Where is the humidity sensor? Maybe it needs to be cleaned? B: Besides warranty is there a way to reset the sensor?
I did see this poster: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40164206&postcount=15 but it would appear that it is within the metal band and needs to be sent in then
.
Thanks for any help
.
*edit*
Should add that I have done a factory reset multiple times with change in the readings...
*edit 2*
Found where it is according to ifixit: http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Samsung+Galaxy+S4+Teardown/13947/3 So no way to clean it and by the look of things no way to reset it either :?.
