[Q] Which led to the failure of otg use on my Razor Maxx?

I have just bought a multi-in-one gadget : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GLKI258

It did work well with the rooted device Nexus 7. The operation went smooth. But when used with Razor Maxx / Droid Maxx,
the phone has recognized the card. But the plug wouldn't read anything.

I searched no result here but still expect a possible solution.
I'll also enshrine the thing somewhere.
