Hi all,
Last week I updated my stock defy towards CM7. So far everything works great except if I hook it up to my Bluetooth car kit the screen never times out during or after a call. This is really annoying while I commute more than 2 hours a day and call a lot in the car. Now that the display is turned on and remains on, it’s draining the battery a lot. A work around is to manually switch of the screen with the power button. But that’s easy to forget.
The specifications:
Model:MB525
Android:2.3.7
Mod version: cyanogenmod-72-20120304-NIGHTLY-Defy
Build nummer: GWK74 – cyanogendefy
Car:
BMW Idrive 2011
BT module: TX-003.005.004-003.004
Multimedia module MX-003.005.004
Problem:
While connected on Bluetooth car kit: Screen stays on during and after call.
I already tried most option I could find on the phone, but none seems to have effect. I also already connected the phone with Nokia Bluetooth earphone, and that works fine. After the set screen time out, it works and times out while connected on Bluetooth.
Any advice or help is more than welcome. If any further info is needed, please say so.
Cheers,
Bram
